About the Atharva Veda:- The Atharva Veda (अथर्ववेद) is the fourth and most practical of the four Vedas. Named after the sage Atharvan, it is a collection of 6,150 mantras organized into 20 Kandas (books) that deal with the concerns of everyday human life — health, healing, protection from evil, prosperity, longevity, and domestic harmony.

तुभ्यमप्रे पर्यव-हन्-त्-सूर्यां वहतुना सह । स नः पतिभ्यो जाया दाग्ने प्रजया सह ॥ १ ॥

O Agni, may the sun, with its radiance, bring forth prosperity for us, just as a wife brings forth progeny for her husband.

हे अग्निदेव, जैसे सूर्य अपनी किरणों से सब कुछ प्रकाशित करता है, वैसे ही आप भी अपनी शक्ति से हमें धन-धान्य और संतान से परिपूर्ण करें।
